Rutgers School of Social Work's MSW Ranked 16th Best Graduate Social Work Program by U.S News & World Report
U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in graduate program ratings, again ranked Rutgers School of Social Work on its list of Best Graduate Schools Rankings – Social Work Programs. Ranked at 16th in the nation, Rutgers School of Social Work’s MSW is in the top ten programs at public research universities across the country. Rutgers School of Social Work is also ranked 4th among programs in the Big Ten Academic Alliance and 2nd in the competitive New York market. U.S. News & World Report ranks the 298 Master of Social Work programs accredited by the Council on Social Work Education, and in this year’s rankings, Rutgers improves its ranking among the top 20 schools.

The ranking is based on the School of Social Work’s Master of Social Work (MSW) degree. The School also offers a Doctor of Social Work (DSW) degree, Doctor of Philosophy in Social Work (Ph.D.) degree, and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) with a Social Work major. The School of Social Work’s programs prepare graduates to serve society in clinical, academic, government, non-profit, and business settings throughout the nation and the world. The School also houses six centers and institutes engaged in integrative research, teaching, and public service on issues related to families, addiction, prevention science, ending violence, leadership and management, and global social work.
