Weekend Residency Calendar

The coursework for the Rutgers DSW Program takes place during nine onsite residencies and two online residencies. The onsite residencies take place at the Rutgers New Brunswick campus and include lectures, seminars, writing workshops, case presentations, meetings with faculty and advisors, and participation in research interest groups. Each day of an onsite residency consists of two three-hour modules; one in the morning and one in the afternoon.

Alumni Multimedia Projects 

As part of the DSW Curriculum, students are required to research and produce a multimedia project.

Rutgers Portal

My Rutgers brings together a variety of information and services that are available to students at Rutgers, including viewing grades, reading email, and registering for classes.

Canvas Learning Management System

The DSW Program utilizes the Canvas Learning Management System during the semester to house class material and assignments for the monthly weekend residencies.

University Libraries

Rutgers students have access to books, articles, indexes and databases through the University Libraries. 

Purdue OWL

The Online Writing Lab (OWL) at Purdue University houses free writing resources and instructional material. Students may find helpful information to assist with writing projects.
