The Rutgers School of Social Work offers a wide range of continuing education offerings focused on critical practice topics related aging and older adults, including a certificate programs in gerontology (both basic and advanced), senior housing issues, and senior services management.

The inaugural InnovAGING NJ 2024 Summit was a showcase of innovative programs and partnerships improving the lives of older adults and changing the aging norms in New Jersey. 250 attendees joined the event to explore ways of creating a brighter future for aging and health equity in New Jersey. The event was the Hub's 2024 Careers in Aging Month kick-off event. This virtual roundtable brought together over 45 people from the Rutgers community with the goal of building a community to advance aging education at Rutgers through an exchange of aging-focused education programs and opportunities.

Attendees toured OLLI-RU and brainstormed ways to begin intentionally building an aging-focused community among the broader Rutgers community, including current students, faculty, and staff, as well as alumni and community partners.
