Bio

Anthoney Francis (he/him/his/they) is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of New Jersey. He completed his Bachelors degree in Political Science at Shaw University of Raleigh, North Carolina in 2014 and his MSW at Kean University in 2019. He supported the Board of Directors for the NASW-NJ chapter as the 2018-2019 Graduate Student Representative. After graduating, Anthoney worked in the criminal justice system as a case manager, providing services for criminal involved persons reintegrating into the community. Anthoney is currently working as a Psychotherapist in the geriatric field in Essex and Union Counties. In addition, he also has an extensive background working with children with mental/behavioral challenges through Partnership for Children of Essex, where he provides support, guidance, and knowledge to youth by teaching them techniques to regulate their emotions and improve their communication skills. Anthoney’s approach to social work practice includes a combination of cognitive behavioral, solution focused, and mindfulness based therapies/strategies.
