Andrew H. Kim, MSW, ABD, LCSW, LCADC is a PhD candidate in the School of Social Work at Rutgers University. He is a practicing Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LCADC) who earned his BA in Psychology with a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies and MSW from Rutgers. His practice-informed research applies computational (Artificial Intelligence [AI]/Machine Learning) and geospatial methods in social sciences focusing on behavioral health and global poverty, grounded in a data justice framework. His research focuses on AI for Social Good to improve treatment outcomes, inform policy, and guide intervention research—emphasizing predictive analytics and spatial determinants.
