Bio

Bing Ji is a licensed clinical social worker in New Jersey and New York. She earned her MSW from Fordham University. Bing started her career as a program coordinator and a psychotherapist, then carried different roles, exploring multiple aspects supporting aging in place. Currently, Bing is a senior director at a community-based organization in Lower Manhattan in New York City, overseeing the agency’s aging portfolio. In her tenure, she has developed, expanded, and led existing and innovative programs with a holistic approach to support older adults. She’s a member of MINT (motivational interviewing network of trainers) and has been involved in motivational interviewing training since 2017. Additionally, Bing is an adjunct lecturer at Columbia University School of Social Work. Bing hopes to use her future DSW to continue to support best practices related to aging in place and facilitate policy changes.
