Jacqueline Y. Adams is a licensed clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of New Jersey. Jacqueline earned a MSW with a concentration in Administration, Policy and Planning from Rutgers University. She has achieved the following extensive leadership positions as: Program Coordinator, Senior Clinician, Research Assistant and Adjunct Professor addressing some of the most pressing issues in the areas of housing, health care and education. She continues to focus on addressing imbalances experienced by various vulnerable individuals, groups and communities in New Jersey. An adoption certificate from Rutgers University is held by Jacqueline and she provided counseling services, facilitated group discussions and assisted in the development of a research supported curriculum to enhance family emotional attunement. She has presented for several years at the annual Let’s Talk Adoption conference sponsored by Concerned Persons for Adoption and Rutgers University School of Social Work. In addition, as an Adjunct Professor within the social sciences department for more than 10 years, she taught courses in the areas of psychology, sociology and education. Jacqueline has also served as co-chairperson for a nationally recognized pre-teen and teen curriculum designed to enrich, enhance and educate young female participants. In the future, Ms. Adams wants to Utilize her DSW by continuing to address imbalances in the areas of education. This includes educational access, equity and reform.
