Bio

Amy Strickler, LMSW, LSW, earned an M.S. in Social Work from the Columbia University School of Social Work, and has an advanced Certificate in Adoption from the Rutgers School of Social Work.  Ms. Strickler is the Assistant Director of the Intensive Weekend MSW Program at the Rutgers School of Social Work. She is also an Assistant Professor of Teaching at Rutgers. 


Prior to joining the Faculty, Ms. Strickler had over 30 years of experience within child welfare programs, including family preservation and adoption. Within these fields of  practice, she engaged in direct practice, management, program planning/implementation and administration. 
Ms. Strickler’s area of interest and research are social work education for post traditional students and adoption advocacy.
