Sharon Fortin

Sharon Fortin is Associate Dean for Administration and Finance at the School of Social Work. She serves as the chief administrative, finance, business, and operations officer and senior advisor to the Dean, senior administrators, faculty and staff.  Associate Dean Fortin is responsible for the oversight and management of all administrative services including: human (faculty and staff) resources; budget planning and financial management, business, technology, space, renovation, and facilities.  With more than 20 years professional experience at Rutgers having served various departments, schools, and university administration (including academic affairs, human resources, and information technology), she has experience fostering change through mentoring and coaching, and leading organizational development efforts including strategic planning; in addition, she serves on many committees throughout the university.
