Bio

Adam joined the School of Social Work in 2006, and has worked with at-risk children, adolescents, and young adults for more than 17 years—in a variety of residential, educational, and community-based settings. During his time at Rutgers, he has coordinated substance abuse prevention groups, mentoring programs, youth advocacy committees, housing and internship programs, and training and nonprofit development programs. Adam has also designed case management systems and produced websites and videos to assist young people in need. He is currently the Manager for Youth and Community Development for the IFF Fellows, a support program for undergraduate students on the New Brunswick and Camden campuses who have lived experience in foster care or that are otherwise at-risk for homelessness.
