Lamonte Parks
Bio
Lamonte joined the Institute for Families in January 2020 as an Instructional Designer for the New Jersey Child Support Institute. He received a BBA from Pace University, Lubin School of Business, in 2010. He began his professional journey as an intern with the State of New Jersey Office of the Governor in 2011. In that capacity, he identified and helped manage relationships with state agencies and local and municipal governments for the distribution of marketing and promotion of the administration’s 2012 education and economic reform agenda. After a stint at a start-up company working as a Customer Service Manager and, later, as an Operations Analyst for four internet domains, Lamonte rejoined the public sector in 2013. As a Human Resource Consultant with the Civil Service Commission, he gained experience in instructional design, web-page management, and LMS coordination. Lamonte earned a Graphic Design certification from Rowan College. He has received multiple accolades for his work with Microsoft Suite and is also a 2019 Governor’s Team of Excellence Award winner.
