Bio

Melissa joined IFF in 2021 and brings over six years of experience as an applied researcher in higher education institutions and human service settings. This experience includes collecting quantitative and qualitative data for research and evaluation projects and applying best practices in case management. On the Research & Evaluation team, Melissa supports the development, research, data collection, analysis, writing, and editing of needs assessments, logic models, and new policies/ procedures. She also performs training evaluations and ongoing quality improvement monitoring. Melissa’s work spans many topic areas, including language access services, DEIB, training for human services child support professionals, parenting, adolescence, substance use, education, collective action, gentrification, dating and domestic violence, sexual assault, and housing programs. Melissa earned her Masters degree in Social Service from Bryn Mawr College, and Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the College of New Jersey (TCNJ).
