LaToya joined the Institute for Families in 2021. LaToya is passionate about the field of early childhood and being a servant leader to early childhood professionals. She has been in Early care and education for almost two decades and her diverse roles include preschool teacher, educational director and technical assistance specialist in both private and state sectors. Those roles directly lean into her current role as the Supervisor of Continuous Quality Improvement with the Grow NJ Kids Training Services team. In this role, she supports the continuous quality improvement process of the per diem instructors and training curricula through observation and coaching, reviews and analyzes participant feedback, and conducts continuous quality improvement reviews and quality assurance reviews. LaToya’s devotion is to support efforts that ensure early childhood initiatives are equitable, accessible and meet the needs of children and families. LaToya is committed to elevating positive adult learning experiences and the delivery of high-quality professional development.
