Bio

Sarah Baig (she/her) joined the Institute for Families as a Content Supervisor, who oversees the training curriculum content across IFF’s programs, including the NJ Child Welfare Training Partnership, NJ Child Support Institute, and Grow NJ Kids Training Services. Her decade plus experience involves macro-level social work practices in non-profit, healthcare, academic, and government sectors serving children and families and people impacted by violence. She is highly skilled in training, technical assistance, coaching, strategic development, program management, data-driven practice, and continuous quality improvement. With a passion for social justice, Sarah is an ongoing advocate for vulnerable and marginalized populations and actively promotes justice, equity, diversity, and inclusion. Sarah is a NJ Licensed Social Worker and holds a Master of Social Work from Rutgers University and a Bachelor of Arts in Human Service Studies from Elon University. Her specialties and certifications include trauma-informed care, violence prevention, maternal child health, early childhood development, mental health, DEI in the workplace, human services management, and social work leadership.
