Laurie Zazenski

A seasoned professional with more than a decade of experience, Laurie Zazenski is a proven expert in developing strategy and implementing marketing and communications plans that bring critical attention to nonprofit organizations and institutions of higher education.

Laurie serves as Director of Communications at the School of Social Work at Rutgers University where she conceives and executes its internal and external communications plans. Prior to this role, she served as Communications Manager at Princeton University's School of Architecture and Marketing & Communications Manager at Citymeals on Wheels, a nonprofit in New York City providing meals and companionship to the homebound elderly.

She received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in American Studies from Dickinson College and a Master of Arts in American Studies from the University of Massachusetts Boston where she also worked at the University’s Research Center for Urban Cultural History.
