 As Medicaid and Medicare policies shift at the federal and state levels, individuals with disabilities may face increasing barriers to accessing essential healthcare and support services. This session explores how the evolving landscape of public benefits impacts people with disabilities—and what happens when the safety net intended to protect them begins to unravel. Advocacy opportunities and resources for social workers and other professionals and people with disabilities will be highlighted.
