Alumni Conversation | Embodied Healing: Integrating Somatic Practices in Clinical Work

This virtual, one-hour class will explore how somatic practices can enhance therapeutic work by deepening connection to the body (soma) and supporting emotional regulation. Attendees will gain a foundational understanding of somatic principles and how they intersect with clinical concepts. The session will include brief education on somatic theory followed by at least two experiential exercises designed to promote grounding, self-awareness, and body-based connection. Attendees will receive visually engaging slides with additional resources to support continued learning and integration of somatic practices into their work.
