How Social Workers Assess and Treat Clients Undergoing a Spiritually

This MMP discusses the findings of a small, exploratory qualitative study of licensed social workers, who work with individuals who have undergone a spiritually transformative experience (STE).  These experiences often resulted due to a period of great difficulty for the client, and the experiences themselves can also present as difficult to navigate and integrate.  This MMP will examine what circumstances may lead to n STE, and how clinicians assess and treat individuals who are experiencing STE’s.
