Unsung Losses: Combating Suicide in Military Populations
In this MMP, I will describe the combination of risk factors and challenges to help-seeking behavior of military members; articulate the challenges in providing mental health treatment to a military member; describe of the best practices for military members and; demonstrate knowledge of resources available to support military members. This body of knowledge will build peer, professional, clinical, and organizational interactions among military members and mental health professionals and reduce suicidality.
