Recognizing Student Trauma: A Trauma Informed Guide for School Staff
In this MMP, I will define trauma and adverse childhood experiences (ACEs), and describe how these experiences negatively affect the brain and behavior. Emphasis will be placed on how exposure to ACEs manifests within the school setting. Social workers will evaluate best practices for working with students who have experienced ACEs.
