Donnette R. Jones "DJ" serves as a Research Associate and PTTC Fellow at the Rutgers School of Social Work, where she contributes to behavioral health research, training, and capacity-building initiatives through the Northeast and Caribbean Prevention Technology Transfer Center (PTTC). DJ supports community-engaged projects in this role that advance substance use prevention and mental health promotion across diverse populations.
With a background in public health education and a focus on social and behavioral health sciences, DJ is passionate about health equity, culturally responsive practices, and youth well-being. She brings extensive experience in program coordination, nonprofit partnerships, and public health communication. Currently pursuing her Master of Public Health at Rutgers University, she integrates research, practice, and advocacy to help bridge gaps in prevention services for historically underserved communities.
