Bio

Brittany Rahn is a dual-licensed clinician in the state of New Jersey, as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Licensed Clinical Alcohol and Drug Counselor. Brittany graduated with her MSW from Stockton University in 2020. She began her career in the field of non-profit substance abuse, working with marginalized populations involved in the criminal justice system. She gained extensive experience in facilitating groups while working towards fulfilling her clinical hours. By working with this population, Brittany gained a better understanding of generational and community trauma as it connects to human behavior.

In 2023, she fully transitioned to private practice, working with clients of all ages. While Brittany works with a spectrum of mental health concerns, the main population she serves are young adults who have experienced complex trauma. She often treats individuals with emotional regulation concerns, chronic suicidal ideations, and/or self-harming behaviors. She utilizes modalities, such as DBT, CBT, spirituality-based therapies, art-based therapies and narrative therapy techniques.

Brittany is an advocate for individuals who are diagnosed with personality disorders and the biases and mistreatment that they often face from mental health professionals. Brittany's study of focus in the Rutgers' DSW program is social workers' perceptions of those with Borderline Personality Disorder and how negative biases often impact their ability to receive adequate care, thus delaying recovery.
