Bio

Shannon joined the Institute for Families in August 2021. Shannon supports operational areas across the Institute as Administrative Specialist, with a focus on communications, grant and contract support, and organizational development initiatives, in addition to providing support to IFF’s Leadership Team. In her previous role at IFF, Shannon supported the Grow NJ Kids Training Services program’s administrative and grant-related functions as an Administrative Coordinator. Prior to this, Shannon worked as a Program Associate at IFF supporting the New Jersey Victim Assistance Academy, while completing her Master of Social Work Advanced Practicum internship. Shannon obtained her MSW at Rutgers University in May 2022, with a specialization in Management and Policy and a certificate in Human Services Management. As an MSW student, Shannon served as Management and Policy Student Representative on the Rutgers School of Social Work’s Graduate Student Association Executive Board. She brings prior experience in education administration and a passion for macro social work practice to this role, and is thrilled to continue to support IFF’s operations and mission. Shannon has been a Licensed Social Worker since 2022.
