Bio

Dr. Patricia Sainvilus joined IFF’s New Jersey Child Support Institute in 2024. She holds a doctorate in Educational Leadership with a concentration in Higher Education from Monmouth University, a master's degree in Human Behavior and Organizational Psychology, and a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Health Education from Kean University. Dr. Sainvilus previously worked at Saint Peter's University and Kean University as an Instructional Designer and served as an adjunct psychology professor at various institutions, teaching a wide range of topics within the field.

An active member of organizations such as the Black Women’s Collective and the New Jersey Association of Black Psychologists, Dr. Sainvilus serves as Membership Chair for the latter. Her publications include a children’s activity book, a book chapter on social-emotional learning in K-16, and a dissertation examining the college experiences of disadvantaged students. Before transitioning to higher education, she gained extensive experience in the pharmaceuticals and healthcare industries, excelling as a project manager, account manager, pharmacy trainer, and supervisor.
