Bio

In August of 2023, Jordan joined the IFF team. She comes with seven years of in-classroom elementary school teaching experience. This includes serving with City Year, where she provided literacy, math, attendance, and social-emotional interventions for students in the school district of Philadelphia. Jordan has found success in teaching virtually, in-person, and in a hybrid model. While teaching, Jordan was able to utilize technology tools and resources that allowed for her students to reach their differentiated learning goals. She also served on her school’s professional development committee, as she is a big believer in continuing to grow professionally and being a lifelong learner. She feels passionately about making learning accessible and safe for all learners. Jordan earned a B.A in English-Writing from the University of Pittsburgh, as well as an M.A. in Education from Rosemont College. She also earned a graduate certificate in Instructional Design for E-Learning from Drexel University, where she was able to hone specific skills in instructional and training project design.
