Bio

Dr. Swann-Jackson joined IFF in 2021 and brings over 20 years of experience as an applied researcher and evaluator of human services programs and educational and initiatives serving urban children and families. An experienced methodologist, she has applied evaluation principles to research and evaluation projects focused on workforce training and best practices, adolescence, parenting, equity and anti-racism, family homelessness, community health, child welfare, aging in place, substance use, teacher preparation,  curriculum development, education reform, and school violence. Rebecca earned a PhD in Family Science and Human Development from Montclair State University and a Masters in Education, with a concentration in Statistics, Measurement, and Evaluation, from Rutgers University. Before joining IFF, Rebecca developed and led the Education team at the Center for Research and Evaluation on Education and Human Services at Montclair State University.
