Working Autism, Visualizing Employment
This MMP will reveal how using a strengths-based approach is effective in addressing barriers faced by individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). The goal of this presentation is to show how individuals with ASD can live more fulfilling lives if given the opportunity to utilize their strengths. In order to demonstrate not just the importance but also the means of highlighting strengths, this presentation will explore skills used in an outpatient setting, results of a qualitative research project, and a response to difficulties encountered in the search for employment for those with ASD.
