Cathy Thompson-Fix

Cathy joined the Institute for Families in February 2007 to support the New Jersey Child Support Institute (NJCSI). Her prior experience includes over 25 years of Operations and Quality Assurance experience in Telecommunications, Healthcare, Public Utilities and Naval Intelligence. Her current role as Administrative Coordinator utilizes her skills in administration, procurement, and budgetary reconciliation. Cathy is a graduate of Somerset Christian College and has her M.Div. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary. She also earned a certificate in Non-Profit and Public Management from Rutgers. Cathy served on the Inclusion, Intersectionality, Diversity, Equity and Advancement (IIDEA) Committee for the School of Social Work, and is a leader on IFF’s Diversity, Equity, Inclusion and Belonging (DEIB) Workgroup. She also serves as a pastor locally and is a member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).
