Ciji Carr
Bio
Ciji joined the Institute for Families in February 2016, where her work focused on Human Service Initiatives. She currently oversees the design and development of curriculum and integration of technology for the New Jersey Child Support Institute.
Ciji began her career in child support in January 2009 as a software consultant, supporting the implementation of both New Jersey and Delaware’s state child support programs. Ciji has also worked in the roles of a Child Support and Paternity Specialist, Quality Assurance Analyst and Functional Specialist for the New Jersey Office of Child Support Services (OCSS).
As an advocate for Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging, Ciji currently serves as the chair of the Institute for Families DEIB Committee, where she champions initiatives that foster an inclusive and equitable work environment. Ciji is also an inaugural member of the School of Social Work’s Staff Council. Ciji holds a degree in Sociology with a minor in Psychology from Rowan University.
