Kate Stepleton

Honors and awards: 2016 Doris Duke Fellowship for the Promotion of Child Well-Being for support of dissertation research, a mixed-methods examination capitalizing on the naturalistic implementation conditions of a child welfare intervention intended to prevent repeat maltreatment and removal to foster care; Excellence Fellowship for Doctoral Study, Rutgers Institute for Health, Health Care Policy, and Aging Research; Assistant Secretary’s Honor Award, Administration for Children and Families (USDHHS);  Research and practice experience: Office of the Commissioner of the Administration on Children, Youth and Families, U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (duties included policy analysis, policy development, and management of the Commissioner’s messaging and communications); Associate, Center for the Study of Social Policy, family strengthening and the prevention of child abuse and neglect.
