Laura DiMarcantonio

Laura DiMarcantonio joined Rutgers School of Social Work in 2015 as the Director of Admissions, overseeing application review and recruitment for all MSW programs at the School.  Laura previously led the Office of Admissions at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT), part of the State University of New York (SUNY).  During her nine year tenure at FIT, Laura implemented new enrollment technology to streamline admissions processing and developed a strategic national recruitment plan designed to increase the diversity and quality of the applicant pool.  Prior to FIT, Laura also served as a leader in the Office of Admissions at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, VA.    

Laura has presented nationally and internationally on admissions and recruitment best practice.  She was also a 2009 Fellow at Vanderbilt University’s Peabody Professional Institute and earned a Certificate from the Harvard Admissions Institute.
