Gabrielle Gault

Gabrielle joined the Center for Research on Ending Violence in 2018 and currently coordinates the Center's Training and Technical Assistance branch, where she oversees the implementation of state-contracted training, provision of research-informed technical assistance, and build-out of online professional development all aimed to increase agencies’ capacity to support survivors of interpersonal violence and promote trauma-informed systems of care. Gabrielle is also engaged in research-to-practice projects focused on interpersonal violence and disability, addressing harm in higher education, and understanding the implementation of trauma-informed practice in the healthcare workforce. Ms. Gault obtained her Master of Social Work and her undergraduate degree in Sociology from Rutgers University. She brings over 15 years of experience in interpersonal violence prevention and intervention to her work. Gabrielle's current interests include the evaluation of trauma-informed systems and practices, somatic healing for survivors of interpersonal violence, and utilizing community-rooted collaboration as a vehicle for sustainable change. Through her work, Gabrielle hopes to create a safer, more just world for all of us, especially her kiddo.
