Presented by Dr. Lauren Snedeker, Assistant Teaching Professor, Director of the Aging and Health Certificate and Dr. Emily Greenfield, Professor of Teaching, Director of the Hub for Aging Collaboration

This presentation will explore the diverse 'currencies' of health social work, from clinical intervention and resource navigation to systemic advocacy for older adults. We will examine how the MSW Certificate in Aging and Health provides the specialized framework necessary to take on these roles, preparing students to lead and innovate within complex healthcare environments. By the end of this session, students will have a clear understanding of the certificate requirements and the meaningful impact students can make as a specialist in this growing area of practice.
