Bio

Edwin brings a diverse and dynamic background to the Institute for Families. His career began in Philadelphia, where he served as a middle school humanities teacher. During his time in the classroom, Edwin developed a deep passion for integrating technology into his lessons to enhance student engagement and learning outcomes. This enthusiasm for innovation in education led him to pursue a Master of Education (M.ED) in Instructional Technology at Widener University, where he honed his expertise in using digital tools to transform traditional teaching methods.

Upon earning his degree, Edwin transitioned to the corporate sector, spending three years at a prominent IT solutions company. In this role, he was responsible for creating comprehensive learning materials to support a workforce of over 6,000 employees. Edwin’s unique blend of classroom teaching experience, technical expertise, and corporate learning design informs his work as an Instructional Designer at IFF, where he continues to support professional growth.
