Deborah Solomons, MSW, LSW is a Senior Program Coordinator for  Rutgers School of Social Work. Prior to this role, Ms. Solomons served as a Liaison, Off-Site Practicum Instructor, and Practicum Specialist for the School of Social Work. She earned her MSW from Rutgers University and has worked in the social work field for almost 30 years. Ms. Solomons is extremely well connected with Philadelphia based agencies which has facilitated her placement of MSW students for their practicum.

Ms. Solomons has extensive experience working on behalf of clients with substance abuse and dual diagnoses. Additionally, she has worked with various trade associations advocating for rate increases and progressive legislation for behavioral health and social service agencies in the Philadelphia region. Prior to coming to Rutgers thirteen years ago, Ms. Solomons served as a Clinical Director and the Director of Quality for a $40MM behavioral health agency in Philadelphia. Throughout her career, she has strived to achieve best practice in social work related to various areas such as client engagement, enhancing programs and providing education and guidance to students.
