Daniela Prelipceanu

Daniela Prelipceanu is the Assistant Director of Business Services at the School of Social Work, where she provides comprehensive accounting and budgeting support to Directors, Principal Investigators, and research staff. Her responsibilities include developing proposal budgets, interpreting and applying funding agency guidelines for various sponsors, and overseeing all post-award activities. She also manages the research administration team within Business Services and collaborates closely with central pre- and post-award offices to ensure compliance and efficiency throughout all stages of the awards’ lifecycle. With 26 years of experience in research administration at both departmental and central levels, Daniela is dedicated to resolving complex administrative challenges. Since 2018, she has been an active member of the National Council of University Research Administrators (NCURA), serving in various committee roles and regularly presenting at regional and national conferences.
