Bio

Melissa joined IFF after seven years working as a Certified Care Manager and Coach coordinating in-home therapeutic care for youth within Middlesex County. As a Senior Program Coordinator, she is responsible for the activities and advocacy of students within the IFF Fellows Program. The program is for students that lived with experiences in the child welfare and foster care system. Melissa began her career as a Special Education Teacher in various classroom settings in New Jersey. Melissa holds a master’s degree in Social Work from Rutgers University. Melissa is continuing her education working towards her second master’s degree in Public Health with a concentration in Maternal and Child Health. Melissa has been a Licensed Social Worker since 2021.
