Melissa joined IFF in December of 2020 to supervise a team of Instructional Designers developing content for training programs for New Jersey’s Department of Human Services and Department of Children and Families. Before joining IFF, Melissa worked as a Lead Instructional Designer in higher education institutions where she served on a number of committees and was a driving force in the design and implementation of master courses and faculty-led training programs.  She is an adjunct faculty member for the University of Arizona–Global Campus, teaching an introductory course on technology in the classroom. Melissa received her MAED, with a specialization in Curriculum and Instruction, from Ashford University and a BA in History from San Diego State University. When away from work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, organizing and decorating her home, and finding the next great show to binge watch.
