Celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month: Panel on Immigration | September 2021
Rutgers School of Social Work's MSW Certificate Program for Latina/o/x Initiatives for Service, Training and Assessment (LISTA) and the Inclusion, Intersectionality, Diversity, Equity and Advancement (IIDEA) Committee will celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month with a panel discussion on immigration. This event will feature:

- Xiomara Guevarra, JD | Vice President of Legal Affairs and Deputy Chief Operating Officer, Greater Bergen Community Action Program (GBCA)
Rutgers School of Social Work Celebrates Hispanic Heritage Month | October 2020
Hosted by the MSW Certificate for Latina/o/x Initiatives for Service, Training, and Assessment, this event welcomed Rutgers President Jonathan Hollway, Rutgers SSW Dean Cathryn C. Potter, and distinguished guests to explore current events and issues. Featured guests included Juan D. González, author of "Harvest of Empire: A History of Latinos in America"; Yolanda Padilla, Director of the Center for Diversity and Social and Economic Justice at CSWE; Johanna Calle, Senior Policy Advisor at the Office of New Americans (ONA) at the New Jersey Department of Human Services; and Gloria Lopez-Henriquez, a bicultural and bilingual psychotherapist who works with Latino families and youth, faculty at the Ackerman Institute for the Family in NYC.
