Rutgers SSW Affiliates to Present at SSWR 2020

Faculty members, postdoctoral associates, and Ph.D. students from Rutgers SSW will present their research at the upcoming Society for Social Work and Research's Annual Conference from January 15-19, 2020. See the list below illustrating their breadth of work. All presentations will take place at the Marriott Marquis in Washington, DC, and a complete conference schedule can be found here

In addition, three faculty members are being recognized with awards presented during the conference. On Friday, January 17, Kathleen J. Pottick, a 2020 Fellow of the American Academy of Social Work and Social Welfare (AASWSW), will be presented a medal and plaque at the AASWSW Induction Ceremony. Then, on Saturday, January 18, Sarah McMahon will be presented the 2020 Society for Social Work and Research Social Policy Researcher Award for an Emerging Scholar, and Woojin Jung will be presented the 2020 Society for Social Work and Research Outstanding Social Work Doctoral Dissertation Award for her dissertation “Combating Poverty through Aid: A Critical Analysis of Alternative Models." Postdoctoral Associate Skye Allmang will also be announced as an Early Career Reviewer for the Journal of the Society for Social Work and Research (JSSWR).
