A Study of Mood Disorders in The Phantom of the Opera
Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime event featuring Broadway's Julia Udine.
Udine is fresh off her Broadway debut in the hit musical The Phantom of the Opera, where she has played the lead Christine Daaé since 2015. She has also played the role in the North American tour. Her theater credits include Jack's Back (Jenny) and West Side Story (Maria). She has also had roles on TV's Law and Order: SVU and All My Children.
The hour-long special Grand Rounds event, presenting Andrew Lloyd Weber's The Phantom of the Opera as a fictional case study of mood disorders, will identify and discuss five scenes from the musical, each of which will be presented as a first-person account from Ms. Udine in character as Christine Daaé and a third-person perspective through the lens of a psychiatrist, Anthony Tobia, M.D.
