Join the Rutgers School of Social Work's Graduate Student Association, Friday, March 26 at 3:30pm EST for the event Perspectives from Professional Recruiters. Attendees will have the opportunity to interact with professional who recruit job candidates on a daily basis including guests Allison Hemming and Melea Seward from The Hired Guns, a New York City recruiting firm.

Speakers will look to answer the following questions: 

• Are you LinkedIn?
  How to leverage your personal network and tools like LinkedIn for opportunities while maximizing the chances of your dream job finding you.
• What is a "portfolio career" anyway?
  Ways you can use previous skillsets to earn extra money when you are just starting out.
• What are recruiters REALLY looking for?
  What recruiters are looking for in their dream candidate and how they can help you broaden your reach during the job search.
