Human Trafficking Awareness: The Impact of COVID-19 on Service Delivery
Presented by RU-SSW GSA & LSNJ
January is Human Trafficking Awareness Month. In order to spread awareness of this serious social issue and honor survivors, Legal Services of New Jersey’s PROTECT unit is partnering with Rutgers University-School of Social Work and its Graduate Student Association to host an expert panel.
The panelists will share their perspectives on the changing landscape of service delivery due to an international pandemic. Barriers to service have existed intersectionally for many clients, but COVID-19 restrictions exacerbated disparity in service delivery.
Please join us to hear unique perspectives of providers in New Jersey as they share challenges and adaptations experienced to address unexpected changes through the uncertainty of the pandemic.
