Grassroots Empowerment Approaches that Give Girls a Voice

This presentation explores child marriage, menstrual justice, and unequalaccess to education and the girl child’s increased risks to climate change. Socialworkers and social work students will engage with girls from Studio Samuel, agirl’s empowerment NGO in Ethiopia, to explore community-engaged solutionsand capacity needs for girl-serving programs.
