A Conversation on Social Work with Older Adults: Expanding Our Understanding of the Aging Experience
Rutgers School of Social Work’s Aging and Health Certificate Program is hosting a discussion on the multi-faceted nature of the aging experience in recognition of Older Americans Month.
Professionals from the fields of social work, aging, and health will share their insights, challenge common stereotypes, and identify ways to help ensure older adults from any background receive effective, strengths-based, and person-centered care. Through this dialogue, attendees will gain invaluable knowledge to deepen their practices and better understand their older adult clients. Speakers include:
