Academic Information

Students choose a specialization in Clinical Social Work or Management and Policy prior to beginning the second half of the MSW Program.

We offer the MSW program in multiple formats.

  • The on-campus program is offered on a full-time and part-time basis on the New Brunswick, Newark, and Camden campuses.
  • Two online versions of the MSW are available; a 100% online program and a blended program that combines on-line and traditional classrooms.
  • Our Intensive Weekend program meets the needs of human service professionals looking to pursue their MSW.

All of these programs offer an advanced standing option for students who have earned a baccalaureate degree in social work from an undergraduate social work program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
