The School of Social Work seeks dynamic Part-Time Lecturers (PTLs) to teach in its BASW and MSW programs during the 2021 Summer Session May 1, 2021 – August 31, 2021.
Academic Year 2021/2022 (September 1, 2021 through December 22, 2021 for Fall Semester) and January 18, 2022 through May 15, 2022 for Spring Semester),
Successful applicant(s) will instruct undergraduate and/or graduate courses in social work practice, human behavior and the social environment, research, clinical social work practice, social welfare policy and/or management.
Courses will be offered in a range of modalities beyond traditional settings, including hybrid and online format. Teaching assignments are being offered in Camden, New Brunswick, Newark, as well as in the Fully Online and Blended programs.
Instructors are expected to attend orientation, submit syllabus, respond to student emails and submit grades as per contract.
- Persons interested in this position should possess an MSW from a Council on Social Work Education accredited program. Additionally, those who want to teach practice must have at least two years of post-master’s social work degree practice experience. Those wanting to be considered for teaching in the Fully Online or Blended program should have previously taught online and preferably have used CANVAS.
