President McCormick Announces the Appointment of
Richard L. Edwards as Dean of the School of Social Work.

Richard L. McCormick and Former Dean Mary Edna Davidson were pleased to announce
reaccreditation of the Master of Social Work, Baccalaureate in Social
Work combined degree programs by the Commission on Accreditation of the
Council on Social Work Education for the full eight-year cycle, through
2010. The School had undertaken a major announcement project to inform
all alumni, faculty, staff, the Rutgers community, local and state social
service agencies, and other undergraduate and graduate schools of Social
Work throughout the country about the School’s outstanding academic
accomplishments.
