| Bachelor of Arts |
The school offers a B.A. with a major in social work, which is a professional degree program that prepares graduates for beginning social work practice.

| Master of Social Work (M.S.W.) | The school's largest program
prepares skilled direct-service providers to function in both public and
private sectors of social welfare; and also prepares students for advanced
social work practice, including administrative leadership roles in the state's
social welfare departments and agencies, and at all levels of government,
as well as in the voluntary sector.

| Advanced Standing |
The school offers an advanced-standing M.S.W. program
for students who have earned a baccalaureate degree in social work from an undergraduate social work program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education.

|
| Part-Time M.S.W. Option |
A structured M.S.W. part-time option is available on Rutgers' three regional campuses. Students are required to take a minimum of 6 credits each term and to complete the program within four years of matriculation. Advanced-standing M.S.W. students are required to complete the structured part-time M.S.W. option within two years of matriculation. |

| Dual Degrees | The Juris
Doctor/Master of Social Work (J.D/M.S.W.) is an accelerated dual-degree
program offered by the school in conjunction with Rutgers' schools of law

The Master of Social Work/Master of Divinity (M.S.W./M.Div.) is offered in conjunction with Princeton Theological Seminary. |

| Doctoral Program | The Ph.D. program, offered in
conjunction with Rutgers' Graduate SchoolNew Brunswick, prepares students
for careers in higher education, research, and advanced positions in social

| Advanced Curriculum |
Students may select one of two method concentrations: Direct Practice or Administration, Policy, and Planning.
The school also offers clusters,
or organized programs of study, that focus on a specific problem area
and/or population at risk. Currently, two clusters are offered: Children
and Families; and Health, Mental Health, and Aging. |

| Field Placements |
Rutgers' School of Social Work is affiliated with more than 800 social service agencies throughout New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. Students integrate classroom instruction with hands-on experience. Each student is required to complete 910 hours of service within two years. Field Placement. |

| Nondegree Programs |
The school provides continuing education and professional development
programs throughout the state of New Jersey, and supports the professional social work community for the continuing education requirements of licensure. |
