Adoption Certificate Training Program/Child Welfare Professional Development

The Adoption Certificate Child Welfare Professional Development program is offered exclusively to employees of the Division of Youth and Family Services (DYFS) working directly with children and families engaged in the process of adoption.  The focus of the certificate program is to expand worker professional development and knowledge of the issues facing adoptive parents.  A certificate is awarded after completing of 6 required workshops.  Training workshops include a broad range of adoption related topics and its impact on children at different stages in their development.
